What is Pathways?
Pathways is a gamified learning platform built for and by wanderers such as yourself. It is a place to train and engage with your community while earning rewards.
Grit.
These are the points that you will accumulate by interacting with the program and the platform in meaningful ways. It is represented on the bottom left panel at camp.
There are many ways to accumulate Grit including gaining loot so experiment.
Levels.
As you gain Grit you will eventually gain levels in the form of titles.
These mysterious titles are awarded to those that reach each threshold. You will also see the others who have also reached that rank. Don’t see anybody else? You may now brag.
Trophies.
These awards are given for engaging with the platform and the program. Trophies give you a nice bonus of Grit, however, nothing worth doing comes easy. The amount depends on the trophy. As a rule, the rarer and harder to get, the more Grit they are worth.
Badges.
These are extra special in a few ways. They usually give larger amounts of grit, may only be awarded once, and they are used as keys to unlock new training paths and functions within the platform.
Profile.
This is where you can get more information on your progress. Here is detailed information about your level, your Grit, and where you change your profile information.
Map.
The main navigation of the learning platform. This is where you find training pathways that are unlocked for you, and go on expeditions.
Expedition.
Where to go on an adventure. A great way to unlock new pathways, learn something new and get some Grit. Use your mouse wheel or the arrows to navigate the doorways.
Loot.
Where you keep all of your prizes such as Trophies, and Badges. Click on them to find out more and see who else has them.
Fireside Stories.
Sit by the fire for some fun and to share with others.
